Jerry’s Science Series

Jerry Fischer was a man who loved many things. His deepest love was reserved for his family, but his love of science may well have come second. We would like to think that his love of the Bernardsville Library might have been right behind those two since he worked so long and so tirelessly to make it such a shining star in the community he also loved. With his passing in March of 2021, his family and the Bernardsville Community both suffered a devastating loss, but fittingly, his wife Fran and their family found a way to honor Jerry’s memory by supporting two of his other loves.

The Bernardsville Library is honored and grateful for their funding of Jerry’s Science Series – a quartet of programs designed to inspire our youth and instill in them a love of science. We hope you will enjoy this tribute in memory of a man who would surely have approved and delighted in it.
