Join us virtually for Tea and Conversation as Julie Maloney, Director of Women Reading Aloud, conducts an up-close and personal interview with international best-selling author Lynne Constantine. Sponsored by the Bernardsville Public Library, this program will take place via Zoom on Thursday, October 29th at 7:00 pm. Lynne Constantine is one half of the “Liv Constantine” author team with her sister, Valerie. Her debut novel written with her sister, The Last Mrs. Parrish, was a Reese Witherspoon book club pick, a People Magazine Pick, a Target Book club selection, and is in development as a television series with Amazon Studios.
Library Journal’s reviewer wrote of the book, “Action-packed. . . The characters are well drawn and the story amps up to a cliff-hanger ending that will satisfy most thriller lovers. This book will appeal to fans of puzzle-solving thrillers and catastrophe stories from authors such as Steve Berry, David Baldacci, and Robin Cook.
Constantine’s other pen name is L.C. Shaw, introduced with her first conspiracy thriller, The Network and followed up with the newly released, The Silent Conspiracy. Lynne has a Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University, and her work has been translated into 28 languages.
Ms. Maloney, poet and writer, has been the organizing force behind Bernardsville Library’s popular “Tea & Conversation” series and is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator on “writing as a life tool.” Her debut novel, “A Matter of Chance,” has been named a finalist in the 2018 Independent Book Awards hosted by Foreword Reviews. As founder/director of Women Reading Aloud, an international writing organization, she has worked in the arts as a performer and educator her entire life. Women Reading Aloud (WRA) offers writing workshops, special literary events, and writing retreats—both domestic and international.
