The Friends of the Bernardsville Public Library will host a free drive-in family concert featuring mr. Ray on Sunday, October 18 at 3:00 pm in the parking lot at Bernards High School. Masks and social distancing are required. Each car will receive one free mr. Ray cd.
Ray (Ray Andersen) will perform original music as well as familiar hits that will keep children and adults dancing and clapping. While his roots are firmly planted in rock and roll, he has been writing and playing for children since 1994. In 2013 and 2014, mr. Ray was in the top 10 of Billboard Magazine’s bestselling kids’ artists.
In the 1980s, mr. Ray was in the house band at the famed Stone Pony in Asbury Park and frequently jammed with Bruce Springsteen. He has also performed with Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi, matchbox twenty, and Chuck Berry and knows how to entertain crowds of all ages. It is no doubt that songs about friendship, dinosaurs, and rainbows have never sounded so cool.
This is a free drive-in, masked and socially concert funded by the Friends of the Bernardsville Library. You can reserve your free tickets at friends-of-bernardsville-library.ticketleap.com/mr-ray-drive-in-concert/. Cars can begin lining up at the Bernards High School parking lot at 2:30 pm.
