At the Bernardsville Library, the safety and well-being of our library users and community is our highest priority. In light of the recent decision to close the Bernardsville Schools, and after careful consideration of the public health imperative for social distancing, the Bernardsville Library will be closed for regular service, and all programs and meetings will be cancelled, from Monday, March 16 – Sunday, April 5, 2020.

The book drop will be closed until at least March 23, 2020. Enjoy your materials a little longer!—and please don’t leave materials around the book drop. We will not charge fines for materials due between March 16 and March 23. Materials will not continue to accrue fines after March 16.

We understand how important the library is to our patrons. While this was a difficult decision to make, it is one that was based upon well-informed necessity and care for those who not only visit us, but work for us as well.

The library is always open when you visit us online. We invite you to take a look at the abundance of online resources for education and entertainment for both children and adults that the library has to offer. All are accessible right here through our website.

Please continue to watch our website for further updates.

Wishing you all continued wellness,

Alexandria Arnold
Executive Director, Bernardsville Public Library
