The Friends of the Bernardsville Public Library will host a free concert by award-winning Irish harpist Sharlys Dugan on Sunday, September 29 at 3:00 pm in the library’s Community Room.
There will be Irish step dancing, including an audience-participation demonstration, Irish songs, as well as stories and jokes. Ms. Dugan, who also performs with her tin whistle, is best known for her 11-year career with Dugan’s Hooligans, a New Jersey-based Celtic eclectic ensemble starring Sharlys and her brother, Connor Dugan. She has been playing the harp for nearly two decades and performing professionally since she was seven years old. A talented musician, dancer and vocalist, she is an engaging performer and a natural entertainer.
This is a free concert funded by the Friends of the Bernardsville Library. Light refreshments will be served. Doors open at 2:45 pm. No sign-up is needed.
